Mr. Matthew Pym

 

Matthew started his career in financial services after graduation from Wilfred Laurier University with a degree in Economics and Personal Financial Management. After completing his studies he joined a national firm as an advisor licensed to sell life insurance and mutual funds. He was hired by Manulife in 2010 and worked in a number of roles inside the organization before becoming a wholesaler in 2013 and has supported the Northern Alberta region for life and living benefits ever since.

In 2017 Matthew completed his FPSC level 1 and in 2018 earned his CFP designation. He also joined the Advocis Membership Committee in 2018 and took on the role of Membership Chair with Advocis in 2019.

Outside of work Matthew is a lover of all things outdoors. In the summer he is an avid golfer, ultimate frisbee player and hiker. During the winter months you can find him cross-country skiing or downhill skiing in his free time.
