Rhona Konnelly, CLU, EPC, CPCA - Konnelly Consulting

Passionate about helping Advisors to differentiate and strengthen their practices by harnessing the gold mining opportunities "to elevate their insurance sales and increase their referability"

Rhona Konnelly was one of the first women in Canada to enter the financial services industry, with over 4 decades of diverse knowledge and experience in the insurance and wealth management sectors, serving in Senior Specialist and Directorship roles with some of Canada's leading financial services organizations. She is also one of the first women to be elected as Chapter President of the Life Underwriter's Association of Canada (currently Advocis), in Victoria, BC in 1987. She is also one of the first women to be elected and serve as Chapter President of the Life Underwriter's Association of Canada (currently Advocis), in Victoria, BC in 1987.

Rhona earned her CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), widely regarded as the gold standard of life insurance professionals and insurance planning, in 1998. Her desire to further specialize in serving the needs of Canada's growing elder marketplace led to the achievement of the Elder Planning Counselor (EPC) designation and Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA) designation in 2005. Both of these credentials build on her in-depth experience and assist her in advising elders and their families on the financial, social and health aspects of living successfully and with dignity in retirement. She is a sought-after speaker on these issues at industry related conferences and symposiums across Canada, and is a member of the Faculty for the Elder Planning Counselor (EPC) certification program.

In addition to the attainment of her CLU, EPC and CPCA, Rhona has 7-years of total membership with the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT); first year in 2001 and last year in 2014, with 2 Court of the Table (COT) memberships in 2001 and 2012.

Rhona continues to serve in her community as a legacy planning and elder care planning resource for the donors of TB Vets Charitable Foundation, is the original founder of the North Shore Chapter of CARP (A new Vision of Aging in Canada), and is the author of the handbook - "The Referability Factor - The Art of Becoming Referable" (second edition planned for the fall of 2024).

Rhona is a highly respected Insurance professional who partners with Financial Advisors to help them address their client's "lifecycle protection planning needs" and elevate their referability, to become an Advisor of Insurance Excellence in today's ever- changing virtual world.
